Taize 2010

After the 100th year celebration of Assumption-Iloilo, here comes another pile of work to do. Since some of my friends and including myself are members of the BEC and SME club, we were in-charge of the Taize event. I was the sign bearer and an usherette as well. We thought our work was going to be easy but it wasn't.

I admit, it was really too tiring for me, I mean, for US, to go from one place to another but we didn't feel the absence of FUN. It was like YEAH! Although we felt to much heat, the smiles and laughters of everyone who joined made our day. AAWWW, so cheesy talaga! =)))))

Centennial Adventure

Assumption-Iloilo finally celebrated its 100th year last Thursday, July 15, 2010. It was required that all high school students should possibly wear their gala, but us 3rd year were told to just wear our school uniform. We were 'kind of' lucky 'cos we didn't feel hot that day.

Uh well, this is the funny part. Mrs. Hofi rented jeepneys for our transportation. We first thought that it'll be supahh dupaahh fun. While staying there for about half an hour going to Jaro Cathedral, we were proven to be wrong. We, Johnsons, were like so ashamed when arrived there.

Good thing that we didn't feel the heat anymore inside the church. The program started with a morning talk and followed by a mass led by Archbishop Angel Lagdameo and other co-celebrants that had studied in AC before. After the mass, thank God, we were given food and I felt satisfide for I was really hungry already even during the mass.

Going back to AC, some of us rode in Megan's car. We were thankful 'cos we had enough of the fishy smell inside the im-not-gonna-ride-on-that-thing-again jeepney. HAHAHAHA!
